What is the difference between the two phrases? “good night” is “bonne nuit” in French. “bonsoir” is more related to “good evening”. You would say “bonne nuit” to someone before he goes to bed while you would say “bonsoir” to somebody you see during the evening (the period of time between 7o'clock and midnight).Jan 18, 2019
